Abstract:
Digital technology has profoundly reshaped the inheritance and innovation of rural culture, opening up new possibilities for the protection and sustainable development of rural cultural resources. Currently, the digital technology-driven rural cultural inheritance and innovation is confronted with practical dilemmas, including the limitations of traditional protection modes, barriers to commercial value transformation, and bottlenecks in digital communication. From the multi-theoretical perspectives of cultural memory, cultural economics, and cultural communication, this paper systematically sorts out the practical applications of digital technology in the recording and preservation, innovation and transformation, as well as inheritance and dissemination of rural culture. It attempts to construct a technical application framework of ‘digital collection-digital database construction-digital modeling-digital production-digital dissemination', which is subsequently applied in Yulong Village, Baisha Town, Yangshuo County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. This framework can systematically promote the precise capture, overall integration, refined creation, virtual-real derivation and multi-dimensional expansion of rural cultural resources. Furthermore, this paper proposes a systematic scheme for digital technology-driven rural cultural inheritance and innovation, covering intelligent digital collection and modeling, cultural element extraction and knowledge graph construction, intelligent digital content production, digital twin presentation, and immersive interactive experience. The research findings can provide a systematic and operable practical path for the realization of rural cultural revitalization empowered by digital technology.
