Abstract:
Intergenerational integration aims to promote interaction, sharing and connection among age groups in daily life. It is an effective response to demographic changes and a key academic topic. Given the fragmented nature of existing research, this paper reviews relevant studies, analyzes the field via CiteSpace, and traces the concept's evolution. Findings show China's residential intergenerational integration research has developed systematically across elderly care needs, spatial environments, group characteristics and renewal practices. Finally, it explores research patterns and future directions based on strengths and limitations, to inform domestic research and practice.
