Abstract: Faced with such problems as the fragmentation of settlement context, the recognizability of settlement culture and the decline of social cohesion under the background of urbanization construction, the thinking oriented by the integration of public space can provide some help for the continuation and development of settlement culture. Based on the cultural heritage perspective, this paper takes the typical Miluo River Valley settlement in Changle Town as an example, discusses the public space integration strategy in Changle Town from the three aspects of the natural landscape culture, settlement culture and regional folk culture. The research results will help to improve the social cohesion and cultural communication ability of Changle Town, and promote the close connection and cultural heritage of the settlement.
