Abstract:
Traditional village is the product of history and times, and its protection and renewal planning usually involves the study of spatial form. Taking Yangmei Village, a national traditional village, as the research object, with the background of the humanistic history and material space of the village, this paper analyzes and abstracts the spatial morphological elements of Yangmei Village through field investigation. Based on spatial syntax and fractal theory, the spatial form of Yangmei Village is quantitatively analyzed by using ArcGIS and DepthMap software, and the spatial morphological characteristics of the village as a whole are obtained.Through comparing the spatial morphological characteristics of the present situation of the village with that of the planning, the rationality and effectiveness of the traditional village protection planning in the protection and renewal of village space form are verified, in order to provide a reference sample for the protection and development of the same type of traditional village in the new era.
