Abstract:
Linggong Village is a castle type traditional village along the Great Wall in Beijing. The public space of the village serves as a link between social relations and material carriers in this region, highlighting the customs and long history of traditional villages in Beijing. This paper takes the public space system of Linggong Village in Taishitun Town, Miyun District, Beijing, as the research object. By referring to relevant literature, field research, and field mapping, it conducts a type study on the public space of the village from the form of public space, analyzes the dynamic factors of the evolution of the public space of the village, summarizes the characteristics of the public space system of the village, and then discusses the optimization strategy of castle type traditional village public space. It also provides a good reference for the future protection and development and revitalization of Linggong Village.
