Abstract:
The current village residential space organization presented the state of disordered development. Taking the rural area of Guanzhong in Shaanxi as the research object, based micro-climate theory, with Rhinoceros & Grasshopper platform, this paper explores the relationship between environmental variables and architectural forms. It is found that in the area of 90m×180m~120m×180m, the inhabitation unit of 40~60 households is a building group between the village and the street. This unit is based on microclimate simulation, generation and the optimized residential aggregate centered on open space. With the spatial characteristics of clustering, centripetal and hierarchical, the inhabitation unit is the basic organizational unit of the village, and it's an important way to build village spatial order, also a useful attempt to explore the spatial organization of the village.
