Abstract:
It is a major strategy deployed by the Party and the State to fully implement rural revitalization and accelerate urban-rural integration. As an important carrier of urbanization in China, the level of urban-rural integration of counties affects the implementation effect of rural revitalization strategy. On the basis of combing the existing researches on urban-rural integration, this paper puts forward the ‘production-life-ecology’ development framework of county-level urban-rural integration from a theoretical perspective, and takes Anji County, the birthplace of China's beautiful countryside and the pilot area of urban-rural integration, as an example, analyzes its urban-rural integration in combination with the theoretical framework, and summarizes the characteristic development experience of Anji County, which can provide an effective reference for the integrated development of villages and towns in late developing areas. The results show that Anji County is ahead of all villages and towns in terms of production integration, life integration and ecological integration. The development path of urbanrural integration is to guide the development of urban and rural industries differently, build the urban-rural facility network of ‘living circle’ in villages and towns, and protect the rural ecological environment strictly. The ‘Anji model’ of county-level urban-rural integration not only provides empirical countermeasures for areas with unbalanced urban-rural development, but also makes a certain supplement to the existing theoretical researches on county-level urban-rural integration.
