Abstract: Based on the rural construction evaluation in three sample counties in Zhejiang Province, this study adopts the evaluation method of reference comparison, establishes an evaluation system from four dimensions including development level, rural housing construction, village construction, and county construction, and conducts a comprehensive evaluation and analysis of rural construction achievements in Zhejiang Province by comparing with the national average, with the satisfaction of the masses and with the differences within regions. Based on the summary of the rural construction results, it discusses the problems and challenges of rural construction in the new era aiming at higher-quality development goals and puts forward suggestions and prospects for rural development in Zhejiang Province.
