Abstract: ‘Ecological restoration and urban repair’ is a comprehensive starting point for solving urban problems in our country, and it is also an important method for urban renewal work. Summarizing the technical points of compiling the technical guidelines for ‘ecological restoration and urban repair’ in small towns and cities is important for our country to carry out urban renewal work of great significance. This paper takes the compilation of ‘Ecological Restoration and Urban Repair Technical Guidelines of Counties and Districts in Yan'an City’ as the breakthrough point, deeply analyzes the special difficulties faced by small towns in carrying out the work of ‘ecological restoration and urban repair’, and summarizes the compilation of ‘ecological restoration and urban repair’ in small towns. The three principles of ‘highlighting key points, concise and easy to understand, and accurate classification’ need to be followed in the technical guidelines for ecological restoration and urban repair. While improving the technical framework of the technical guidelines for ‘ecological restoration and urban repair’ in small towns, the technical features of ‘whole process, tree mechanism, foundation, system building, pertinence, and menu type’ are extracted to form a complete technical point for promotion.
