Abstract: Through the research of technical innovation space governance of Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts USA, this paper focuses on the planning and control measures for the technical innovation and various needs in Kendall Square zoning, and the construction management mode of local government cooperating with universities, developers and communities in planning and construction, summarizes its successful experience in the planning and construction of technical innovation space. Based on the demand of technical innovation activities and the demand of production and life services of scientific and technological people, this paper hopes to find the spatial characteristics of the high-quality technical innovation space and the source of promoting the innovation vitality of the technical innovation space, provides some methods for reference for the construction of urban areas guided by technical innovation in China.
