Abstract:
With the development of network technology, the e-commerce economy has gradually developed and prospered in China. Since 2009, a large number of ‘Taobao villages’ have appeared in various places, and they have become one of the effective ways to promote the development of rural areas. As a bottom-up rural e-commerce economy initiated by individual entrepreneurs, it not only promotes the industrial development of rural areas, but also has a significant impact on the change and formation of its spatial structure. Tudi Village, in Anjing Town, Pidu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province is a suburban industrial Taobao village. This article uses Tudi Village as a specific case to study its evolution path and dynamic mechanism, and sorts out its transformation from a traditional agricultural village to a clothing industry Taobao village. It analyzes the driving force, industrial and urbanization characteristics of its development at different stages, as well as the impact of industry type, organization method, and construction subject on the spatial pattern. It also discusses the promotion or inhibition of the spatial pattern on industry.
