Abstract: From the perspective of historical evolution, the domestic and foreign comparative study reveals that the comprehensive land consolidation has spatiotemporal patterns of spatially full-scale, integrated, long-term, phased, dynamic and regional. In response to the current situation of the prominent human-land contradictions in China, the implementation strategies are proposed, such as the legal system improvement, ecological priority, planning integration, measure adjustment based on local conditions, and dynamic evaluation.
