Abstract: In the new stage of ecological priority, green and high-quality development, the problems and contradictions of rural development in the outskirts of megacities have become increasingly abrupt, which has become a shortcoming that restricts the overall development of urban and rural integration in large cities. Combining the multidimensional transformation of epistemology, ontology, and methodology along with the reconstruction of the national spatial planning system, taking green development as the starting point, this article takes Dongliang Village in Jinan City as the example, proposes green development strategies for villages in the suburbs of megacities, in order to provide reference for the way of green development concept guiding village planning and the transformation and development of villages in the outer suburbs of big cities.
