Abstract: From the perspective of historical geography, this paper analyzes the historical geographical environment of Zhejiang Xinghua and summarizes the influence of historical geographical environment on its development. From the three aspects of regional system, urban construction and cultural characteristics, this paper analyzes the historical and cultural characteristics of Xinghua under the influence of the evolution of the man-land relationship. Finally, the core of Xinghua's value characteristics is the typical representative of the evolution of the man-land interaction in Lixiahe region. It is an interdisciplinary attempt to study Xinghua's cognition of value characteristics from the perspective of historical geography, so as to provide new ideas for the value cognition of famous historical and cultural cities.
