Abstract:
Peri-metropolitan towns are located on the verge of city development, where the urban activities is relatively active because they accept radiation from the city center. But they are faced with the impact of the function transfermation from city center and the change of urban function itself. Under the background of the national territorial spatial planning, according to the planning princicles such as structure conduction, adherence to the bottom line, the implementation of four line control, and ecological restoration priority, a new round of planning is conducted to promote urban transformation and function improvement. Taking the exploration of territorial spatial planning in Jiuting Town, Songjiang District in Shanghai as an example, this paper puts forward some strategies of peri-metropolitan towns function improvement.
